LECTURE - Entrepreneurship - Israel Kirzner, "The Entrepreneur"

Affiliated Faculty:

This lecture seeks to develop an understanding of the role of the entrepreneur in the wealth creation process. Kirzner’s chapter discusses the role of the entrepreneur as a source of discovery of new information within the price system. Whereas much economic activity is concerned with economizing—finding efficient ways to use currently available means to satisfy currently preferred ends—entrepreneurial activity is concerned with discovering new means and ends.
